I agree with Rainer – Omnis is a pretty good mobile platform to work with, because you can get both iOS and Android with the same code base. You can also get device controls eg camera, gps, contacts etc from the device so there are lots of options available.

There are other platforms like Android Studio, or XCode for iOS, or Xojo (iOS only), or others. A quick Google search will show you plenty of options.

Hi, I’ve read through the replies to the question of using Omnis for (iOS) app development with great interest as that is my objective though my experience w Omnis will need to grow past my current status (5.2.3). I am thinking that a great/best way to make this evaluation would be to use an iOS app that was developed using Omnis (10.x) – could someone please point out one to me in the App Store? If not there, how might one take a look a finished product as truly a proof of concept and implemention? BTW, my app would be used in house only & so would not be of the quality/style of a App Store offering. TIA, Allan

Great to hear about your interest in mobile app development! For iOS, try Xcode; for Android, use Android Studio. For cross-platform, consider Visual Studio with Xamarin or Flutter. This guide might also be useful: https://sloboda-studio.com/blog/how-to-create-an-online-marketplace/.
