Payload in $listen

Trying this forum for the first time after a long period out of the traditional Omnis List.
My problem:
I created an Object with superclass PGSQLDAM.PGSQLSESS. Then I added the $notify method to the object. Once instantiated I fire the $listen(iChannel) method. and try to fire a pg_notify command from PG server. As expected the breakpoint in the first line of code of the $notify says I’m doing it well, but I can’t get the payload. I expected to have it as a txt parameter.
How can I read the payload content?

Hello Franco,
Did you declare a parameter of type row in the $notify method? It should then have the payload as one of the values within that row.

I’ve lost my notes about $notify and forgot the row param.. (that also contains the PID)
