Copy layout from breakpoint – make it specific to selected remote form elements
Idea… the “Copy layout from breakpoint” seems to currently apply for all components on a remote form. I would like it to apply it for only the selected components.
As things are, I use “Copy layout from breakpoint” to copy for example the formatting of a complex grid across a set of breakpoints. But it doesn’t just copy the layout of the complex grid. It copies the format of everything on the remote form. So then I have to go back and fix the formatting on everything that just got changed beyond what I wanted. It is costing a lot of development hours to do that.

Thank you for your idea, this has been reviewed and has been aded as an Enhancement that we will shortly complete. The case can be tracked using ST/HE/1851.

This idea has now been implemented in Studio 11.
The context menu option, when control(s) are selected now becomes “Copy layout from breakpoint (selected fields only)”. To copy the whole layout, you can right-click on the form background.
