Quitting Omnis when started
After starting Omnis Studio 10.1 on windows-systems
sometimes it quits again with the following message :“Quitting Omnis due to an unrecoverable error :
Invalid UTF-16 surrogate pair chrbasic.cpp:603″ – and Omnis quits.
what is this ? could this be error be removed ?

Hi Tom,
This error is probably caused by using non-unicode data with an Omnis unicode version.
I could imagine that you are using a report class with non-unicode page setup data in $pagesetupdata. Clearing $pagesetupdata should solve the issue.

we had this problem with old “CALL DLL” calls from the Omnis 7 era. (We convert O7 -> OS)
