VCS omnis studio v. 4.3.2.1
Hi guys,
in ours company we are starting the conversion from omnis 7 to Omnis studio 4.3.2.1 .
In Omnis 7 we used the vcs and now we will use the vcs in Omnis Studio.
My questions are:
1) which is the best database tath we could use for the VCS (in Omnis 7 we use SQL Server)
2) which are the alternatives of VCS? Can we use for example GIT?

Hi Simone,
MS SQL Server works perfect with the Omnis VCS. So you can stay with it.
Unless you don’t write your own VCS module connecting to GIT, there is no alternative to the VCS.
